2025 RiverLand Review

3/26/2026

What happened at your credit union last year?

In early 2025, we invited our members to share their feedback through our Member Relationship Survey, a vital pulse check on how we’re doing and where you’d like to see us grow next. We’re thrilled to report that the results were overwhelmingly positive. Members consistently recognized the professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care demonstrated by our employees. That feedback reinforces what we already know: our team is truly our greatest asset.

We were also proud to see strong satisfaction scores for our Mobile App and Online Banking services, with a large majority of members describing them as extremely easy to use. Providing convenient, secure, and intuitive digital tools remains a top priority.

As we look back on 2025, we’re excited to celebrate several key milestones made possible by your trust and membership. These accomplishments reflect our commitment to continuously improving how we serve you.

Let’s celebrate a few of our 2025 highlights together!

  • 1,221 new members welcomed into the credit union
  • $6.1 million+ paid to our savings, money markets, and certificates, an average of $370 per member
  • 1,206 members financed vehicles, saving members an estimated average of $2,800 per loan*
  • 3 new employer groups partnered with us for the financial benefit of their employees: Delta Utilities, JH Heath LLC, and Triple Son Wholesale Timbers

Product & Service Improvements:

  • Introduced Land Loans to help members purchase property for future development.
  • Enhanced our Online Loan Applications to allow for even quicker processing and a better borrowing experience.
  • Modernized Toney, our touch-tone teller, to future-proof the service for members without an internet-enabled device.
  • Implemented IDCheck through Shared Branching to strengthen fraud prevention for out-of-state transactions.

Prize Winners:

  • 4 members won $250 just by saving their own money with Save to Win
  • 9 members won our Family Prize Pack from the International Credit Union Prize Drawing
  • 1 member won $400 through the Mastercard® Priceless Surprises Sweepstakes**

Financial Wellness:

These were the highlights, and you can rest assured that there are many more projects happening in the background to improve operational efficiency, keep your accounts safe, and enhance your member experience.

We can't wait for you to see what we're working on this year!

*National average interest rates for auto loans are from Statista.  To calculate savings, we took the average rate for 2025 (7.24% APR) and compared it to the average rates our members received in 2025 (4.84% APR). Using our members' average vehicle loan amount of approximately $40,000, the final savings amount estimates the average interest savings per member over a 60-month term.

**This sweepstakes was discontinued by Mastercard in 2026.
